Sam Harrison is an author, poet, and speaker whose work explores the Black experience in America through poetry, reflection, history, and personal storytelling.
His writing draws upon the experiences of generations who faced extraordinary challenges while demonstrating remarkable faith, courage, sacrifice, perseverance, and resilience.
Through his books and speaking engagements, Sam shares lessons shaped by his family, mentors, educators, professional experiences, and community. His work encourages readers to understand the past, appreciate the accomplishments of those who came before us, and remain committed to building a stronger future.

Our purpose is to share reflections on the Black experience in America through poems that tell short stories of these experiences that reflect the wisdom shared by our ancestors and my personal experiences.
